Dohyun Gracia Shin’s research explores representations of women and LGBTQ in the contemporary South Korean theatre. She particularly focuses on how sexuality and gender can playfully digress/blur the heteronormative aspects with bodies on stage—both the characters represented through the body and the actor’s body that expresses that representation.
